Professional Installation Guide
VTX Films are engineered for elite performance. To ensure a flawless finish, follow these technical guidelines carefully. Note: Professional installation is highly recommended.
Preparation
Description: Clean the glass thoroughly with a clay bar or scraper. Use a professional slip solution (distilled water and a few drops of baby shampoo).
Dry Shrink
Description: VTX Films are engineered for Dry Shrinking Only. Use a heat gun on a medium setting and move it constantly to avoid burning the film.
Final Fit
Description: Squeegee from the center out to the edges. Ensure all water is removed to prevent "fingers" from popping up at the bottom.
The 7-Day Curing Rule
DO NOT roll down windows or clean the film for 7 days. Moisture bubbles and a slight haze are normal during this period and will evaporate naturally.
Long-Term Aftercare
Once cured, use only Ammonia-Free glass cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth. Never use paper towels or abrasive pads, as these will scratch the film's protective top coat.
